There’s nothing quite like traveling across the country in a plane, only to get a rental car and then drive another three hours to your final destination only to find that just about every restaurant in town is closed. For as much as I was impressed by how overly nice everyone was during my last trip to Utah, I for some reason didn’t expect practically the entire state to shut down on Sundays. I guess it’s a cultural thing, and there’s nothing inherently wrong with taking the day to close (presumably for religious observance) but it’s not exactly great for travelers.

Oh well, at least Del Taco was open. And their combo meals come with fries. How weird is that?
