I have to say, I am really impressed with the quality of the feedback I’ve received over my previous post about the proposed drug and alcohol rehabilitation center on Dewberry Ave. I expected a bit of opposition and some “you’re just a NIMBY” but what I got in public and private were comments that were thoughtful, eloquent and in the end, caused me to do more research into the matter.

I’m still opposed to placing a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in that location, but thanks to smart commentary I’m more educated about treatment facilities, the real estate developer proposing the one on Dewberry Ave and about the history of the proposals that have been brought up for that area.
